Dr. Auer was born into a family of medical doctors and developed an interest in various kinds of naturopathy in his early years.  His medical studies took him to many universities in Austria (Graz and Vienna), Germany (Heidelberg) and North America.

After completing his medical studies in 1998, he spent several years in clinics and hospitals in Austria.  During that time, he also travelled to Africa, Asia and South America to further his studies.  He started his own medical practice in Neumarkt in Austria in 1992.

He trained in acupuncture, neural therapy, homeopathy and holistic medicine, as well as psychotherapy.

One goal was paramount during all these years: How to conquer acidosis.

Dr. Auer conducted intensive research for 10 years and his numerous international contacts proved to be of great value in this regard.  Together with his research team, he developed Dr. Auer's Base Powder.

Theory of Paracelsus

Paracelsus (born Phillippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim,
11 November or 17 December 1493 in Einsiedeln, Switzerland – 24 September 1541 in Salzburg, Austria)

Paracelsus pioneered the use of chemicals and minerals in medicine.  His hermetical views were that sickness and health in the body relied on the harmony of man (the microcosm) and Nature (macrocosm).
