Acidosis defined

Acids are solutions that are capable of releasing H+ ions.  The more H+ ions they release, the stronger the acids.  The pH value indicates how strong the acid content of a watery solution is.  The acid content is stronger when the pH value is low.

Alkalis are solutions that can absorb H+ ions via an OH group and thus neutralize or buffer acids and render them harmless.  Not all acids are dangerous, but they must perform their activities in the right place at the right time.

The chances of success increase if the body can be assisted in the de-acidification process.  Excess acid damages your health and hampers the effectiveness of numerous medication and treatment.

The battle against excess acid is important in achieving wellbeing and maintaining health.  This includes a change of lifestyle and habits, as well as supplementing your diet with alkaline substances.
